Relationship
Trust, dignity and mutual responsibility are the beginning.
A church of relationship, purpose and living creation
We are a small, family-rooted community learning to place commerce, work and money back in service to life. Purpose directs profit. Relationship makes creation possible.
The ground beneath the work
Before anything can be made, exchanged or sustained, there is relationship. Christian tradition sees this mystery in the Trinity: communion is not an afterthought to creation, but its living source.
Our spiritual language also draws from Neoplatonic and Hermetic traditions, which perceive a participatory, ordered and luminous creation. We honor creation by tending the relationships that allow people, families and communities to flourish.
This is not an escape from ordinary life. It is a way of entering it more fully—with reverence, responsibility and purpose.
A different economic rhythm
Money is a tool. Profit is a resource. Neither is the reason human beings exist. We build systems in which value returns to the relationships that created it.
Trust, dignity and mutual responsibility are the beginning.
We ask what the work is for before asking what it earns.
Skill and discipline give purpose a form in the world.
Useful work creates abundance worth sharing.
Resources flow back to people, place and renewed possibility.
Our living commitments
Financial strength matters because it equips service, formation and durable community—not because accumulation is sacred.
People, materials, places and institutions are not disposable. Stewardship means improving what enters our hands.
Craft, enterprise and disciplined practice can shape character as surely as they shape the world around us.
A healthy economy renews the web of relationships that produced it and expands the capacity to give again.
We do not exist to make purpose serve profit. We exist to put profit, commerce and work back in service to purpose.
One heart, lived outward
The spiritual heart
Sacrament of Light is the center: a community of worship, inquiry, relationship and formation. Here we practice seeing creation clearly and receiving life as gift and responsibility.
The practical expression
The Forge carries conviction into commerce, training, enterprise and community service. It is one way our beliefs take material form: people developing capacity and using it for something larger than themselves.
Come as you are
We are building slowly, locally and relationally. If this vision speaks to something you have been trying to name, we would be glad to meet you.
