Rite of Fire

A ritual from The Doctrine of Inner Fire

This is not a performance. It is a declaration. Speak it standing, or seated. Speak it once, or three times. But speak it from fire, not fear.

The Rite of Causing

I am the bearer of flame and the speaker of form.
I name not from mind, but from fire.
Let the word I speak be aligned with the Will of the Flame.
Let it cause. Let it become. Let it burn away all falsehood.
As I say, so it becomes.

Speak these words aloud. Repeat the final line three times. Then remain in silence. Let the air carry your causation forward. Do not explain it. Do not justify. Let the Word do its work.

Optional Enhancements

These are not required, but may deepen your alignment with the flame:

• Time: Perform at dawn or dusk.
• Posture: Sit or stand with spine upright, shoulders relaxed.
• Direction: Face East.
• Tools: Optional candle or flame image. Silence is the strongest aid.
• Breath: Take 3 steady breaths before speaking. Let the body still.
